Dr BB Sharma is a very senior Radiologist with over 35 years of experience in his specialty. He is an alumnus of Govt. Medical College, Amritsar and has done his Post graduation from PGIMER Chandigarh.
He dedicated 10 years of his career to serving in the Army Medical Corps. Thereafter he served with HP State Health Services as Consultant Radiologist for over six years where he helped initial setup of different radiological modalities like CT and MRI in the State.
Dr B B Sharma served in RML Hospital New Delhi as Consultant Radiologist & Teacher for over 20 years followed by SGT Medical College (SGT University , Gurugram) as Professor & HOD, Dept of Radio diagnosis for over seven years. He is trained in CEUS (London) and has been on the Renal Transplant team at RML Hospital having been trained at AIIMS Delhi.
Dr Sharma has many radiological research projects to his credit in addition to having been teacher and guide to many Post graduates & Ph D students during more than twenty five years of his teaching career. He has also been engaged in teaching Allied Health Science courses – like Diploma in Radio Imaging Technology (DRIT), Bachelor of Radio Imaging Technology (BRIT) and Master of Radio Imaging Technology (MRIT).
Dr BB Sharma was awarded International Scientist Award 2021 on Engineering, Science and Medicine by VD GOOD Professional Association, India. He has more than 140 National & International Publications to his credit and has been on the Editorial Board of a number of Indian as well as International journals.
Thus he joins Sadhu Vaswani Medical Centre with a rich clinical as well as teaching experience
